Description

Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons (CUVP&S) is recruiting for multiple full-time faculty positions in the Department of Neurological Surgery. Academic rank and division/section placement will be determined based on departmental needs and the selected candidates’ experience and expertise. 

Faculty appointments are based at Columbia University Medical Center with admitting privileges at one or more of Columbia’s affiliated/partner institutions.

Responsibilities include direct patient care; supervision and teaching of residents, fellows, and medical students; participation in resident education; and engagement in departmental and academic activities. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to clinical excellence, education, and scholarly activity, with strong research interests preferred.

These positions report to the Chair of Neurological Surgery.

Requirements

MD (or equivalent) required
Board certified or board eligible in Neurological Surgery
Eligible for New York State medical licensure and DEA registration
